Red Chicken Curry

Recipe:
1kg chicken pieces

Marinade:
Juice of 1 lime
3 Tspn Kashmiri chilli pwd
1 Tspn Spicy Red chilli pwd
1Tsp Jeerem Meerem pwd
1/4 Tsp Pepper pwd
Salt as per taste
Marinate the Chicken with the above ingredients and keep aside.

Grind:
1 Sml Onion
1 Tsp fresh Coriander stems
1 Tbsp fresh Ginger/Garlic paste
2 Green chilies
1 Tbsp Dessicated Coconut (Optional)
Grind the above with little Water to form a paste.

Other Ingredients:
1 Sml Onion sliced
1 Sml Tomato diced
5 Pepper corns
5 Black cloves
1 inch Cinammon stick
1/2 Tsp Tumeric pwd
2 Tbsp Oil
In a cooking utensil heat Oil and saute the above for 2 mins. Then add the Ground paste and saute for a minute.Now add the marinated Chicken and fry for another 2 mins. Add Water as per reqd consistency, add 1 diced Potato and cook till done. Garnish with Coriander.

 

Jeere Meerem masala:
100 gm Jeera
100 gm  Pepper corns
25 gms Cloves
25 gms Cinammon
50 gms Tumeric
Grind all to a fine powder .
