Recipe:
Ingredients:
1kg Diced Beef
1 Fresh Coconut dessicated and 10 Small pcs of dried Coconut.                                      1 Tspn Tumeric pwd
3 Lrg Onions chopped
1 Lrg Tomato chopped
1 Potato diced in cubes (optional)
2 Green Chillies Slit
1/4 Tsp Star anise
1/4 Tsp Mace
1Tbsp Coriander seeds
10 Cloves
1 Inch Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
1 Tbsp Cumin seeds
1Tsp Fennel seeds                                            8 Cloves Garlic.                                                1 1/2 Inch Ginger chopped                            1/2 Bunch Coriander leaves
1 Lime
Salt as per taste
Oil
Method:
Marinate the Beef with Lime and Salt for 1/2 hr.
Roast 1 Coconut or 2cups of dessicated Coconut and 2 big Onions together and keep aside.
Then roast 1 pc Star Anise, 1/2tsp Mace, 1tsp Corriander seeds, 6 Cloves, Cinnamon 2″ stick,1/4 Nutmeg,1Tsp Cumin seeds, 1/2 Tsp Fennel seeds,5 Red chillies, 5 Peppercorns, 1Tsp Tumeric pwd.
Then in a mixer put 1 diced Tomato ,1 stem of Curry leaves,1 Onion, 1Tsp Ginger Garlic paste and all roasted ingredients. Grind to a paste and keep aside.
In a cooking utensil, fry 1 lrg Onion,1lrg Tomato,3 Green Chillies and fry till the Onions are translucent.Then add the Ground masala and fry for a min. Then add Beef and water to your desired consistency and cook on low flame.Add 1lrg Potato diced into cubes when the Beef is partly cooked. Check for Salt and turn off the flame.
Garnish with Coriander leaves before serving.
