Goan Mutton Curry

 

Recipe :
Marinate 1Kg Mutton pcs with the following ingredients:
3 Tsp red Kashmiri chilli pwd
1 Tsp Tumeric per
1 Fresh Lime
Salt as per taste

Grind to a Paste the below ingredients:
1 Med onion
1 Inch fresh Ginger
6 Garlic flakes
1 Tbsp Fresh Coriander stems cut fine
4 Green Chillies
1 Med Tomato

In a Pressure cooker heat 1 Tbsp Oil and 2 Tbsp Ghee and saute the marinated Mutton till light brown. Add 1 Tbsp of Jeerem Meerem masala and the Ground paste and saute for another minute. Add very little Water and close the lid of the cooker and cook on high for 3 whistles and turn off the flame.
Check for Salt and cook a bit more if required, making sure the Mutton is tender and cooked.
Garnish with Fresh red chilly and  Coriander leaves and Lime and serve with Steamed rice or Pav.
