10 small Squids cleaned and marinated with Recheado masala and salt.
For the stuffing:
Tentacles of the Squid chopped fine
1 Onion chopped fine
1 Tomato chopped fine
1 Tspn ginger/ garlic paste
1/2 tsp Tumeric pwd
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli pwd
1/2 tsp crushed Pepper
1 Tbsp Recheado masala
1 Tbsp fresh Coriander chopped fine
2 tbsp Oil
Salt as per taste.
Recheado masala recipe:
Kashmiri Red chilli pwd 50 grams. Cloves-3.
Cinamon-2small pieces. Turmeric pwd.-1/2 tsp. Ginger1/2″ piece. Garlic’3to 4 Cloves. Onions-1/2. Cummin seeds- 1/4 tbls. Tamarind- 1small size of Lemon. Sugar-1/2 tbls Salt- little. Grind all the ingredients with Goan vinegar as you require. Bottle and refrigerate
Fry the above ingredients in a pan till the Onions and Tomatoes are soft.You can add very little water if u need.Let the stuffing cool down a bit.
Fill the Squids with the stuffing just above half way and not right upto the top and use toothpics to seal the Squids as shown in the pic.
Fry the Stuffed Squids in the same pan of the stuffing till cooked.
