Spinach(Palak) Bhaji


4 Bunches of Spinach washed and cut fine

1 Onion chopped
1 Tomato chopped
3 Green chillies slit
1/4 Cup of  Red Masoor Dal split soaked in hot water
1/2 Tsp Turmeric pwd
1 Tsp Chilly pwd
1 Tsp Ginger/Garlic paste
1 Tbs Oil
Salt as per taste


In a Cooking utensil heat Oil and add the Onion, Tomato, Green chilies, Ginger/ Garlic paste, Turmeric and Chili pwd and Salt and fry till the Onion and Tomato goes soft. Now add the Dal and fry for some time. Finally add the chopped Spinach and stir fry for a bit and take off the flame and it’s done.

Serve with Rice or Bread or Roti

Spinach bhaji ready to serve
