Shark Ambot Tik

Ingredients:

1/2 Kg Shark fish cleaned and cut into desired pcs.

Shark fish

Grind the below ingredients to a fine paste.:

3 Tsp Kashmiri chilli pwd

1/2 Tsp Tumeric pwd

1/4 Tsp Cinnamon pwd

1/4 Tsp Cloves pwd

1/4 Tsp Cumin seeds

5 Pepper Corns

1/2 Onion chopped

4 Flakes of Garlic

1/2 Inch Ginger

Other Ingredients:

1 Onion sliced fine

2 Green chillies slit

5 Pcs Kokum

Tamarind water by soaking marble size tamarind in water

2 Tbsp Oil

Pinch of Sugar

Salt as per taste

Method:

Apply salt to the fish and keep aside. Fry the Onion in Oil till it turns brown. Add the Ground paste and fry a bit. Add Cup of Water,pinch of sugar and Tamarind water and bring to a boil. Now add the Fish, Green chillies and Kokum and cook till the Fish is tender. Check for Salt

Serve with Basmati Rice.
