Pork Vindaloo

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 Kg Pork shoulder with fat, cut into 1 inch pcs

TO GRIND:

Vindaloo masala:

  •  15 Dried Kashmiri chillies
  •  2 Tsp Cumin seeds
  •  8 Cloves
  •  10 Black Peppercorns
  •  1 Inch Cinnamon stick
  •  1 1/2 Tsp Turmeric pwd
  •  10 Garlic flakes chopped
  •  1 Tsp Sugar
  •  10 Garlic flakes chopped
  •  1 Inch pc Ginger
  •  1/2 Cup Coconut vinegar
  •  Salt as per taste

OTHER INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Medium Onion chopped length wise
  •  4 Green Chillies slit

1 Cup water

METHOD:

Marinate the Pork with the Ground paste and Salt and keep overnight in the fridge.

Now in a Pressure cooker add the  marinated Pork, Onion, Green chillies

Pork/Onions/Chillies in the cooker

Add Water and close the Cooker and cook for 2/ 3 whistles or till Pork is cooked.

Tastes good after 2 days of preparation.

SERVE WITH RICE OR BREAD.
