1/2 kg Beef mince
2 Tbs Goan Vinegar or Lime juice
3 Tsp Jeerem Meerem pwd
2 Tbs Green masala
Jeere Meerem masala:
100 gm Jeera
100 gm Pepper corns
25 gms cinammon
Grind all to a fine powder .
1 Bunch Coriander
10 Green chillies
8 Cloves of Garlic
1 1/2 Inch Ginger
1 Inch Cinnamon stick
8 Black cloves
1 Tsp Cumin seeds
1 Tsp Coriander seeds
1 Tsp Tumeric pwd.
Salt as per taste
2 lrg Onions chopped fine
1 lrg Tomato chopped fine
1 lrg Potato diced into sml cubes(optional)
3 Green chilies chopped fine
Handful of fresh Green peas boiled
1 Stem Coriander leaves chopped fine
2 Tbs Ghee
Marinate the Mince with Vinegar or Lime juice, 1 of the chopped Onion, 1/2 the chopped Coriander, Jeerem meerem pwd, Green masala and Salt for 1 hr. Longer the better
Fry the Mince without Ghee in a pan with a constant stir till light brown in colour and keep aside.
In a cooking utensil fry the other chopped Onion in Ghee till translucent. Add the chopped Tomatoes and fry till soft.
Add the Potatoes (optional) and Chillies and fry for 2 mins.
Add half of the chopped coriander leaves.
Now goes in the marinated Mince and stir fry for another 2mins.
Add Water as per your consistency and cook on low flame.
At this stage check for Salt and Vinegar.Can add some Garam masala and a cube of MAGGI if you have for more taste.
Cook till the Mince and Potatoes are done.
5 mins before turning off the flame add Peas.
Garnish with Coriander and serve with chopped onions, green chilly,slice of lime and Kadak pav.
