1 kg Beef ribs
2 Medium Onions chopped fine
2 Medium Tomatoes chopped fine
1/2 Cup Fresh Coriander stems chopped fine
1 Tbsp Ginger/ Garlic paste
1 Tbsp Kashmiri chilly pwd
1 Tspn Spicy red chilly pwd
1 Tsp turmeric powder
1/2 Tsp Pepper powder
1 Tsp Jeerem Meerem pwd
1/2 Lime juice
1 Tbsp Goan Vinegar
Salt as per taste
Fresh Coriander leaves for garnish
Cut the Beef ribs as shown in the pic
Marinate the Beef ribs with all the spice powders ,lime and vinegar for 1/ 2 hour
Heat oil in a cooker.. Fry the Onions Tomatoes, Ginger/ Garlic paste and Coriander stems
for atleast 15 mins on low to medium flame. Add 1 Tbsp of water every 2 to 3 mins to avoid it sticking to the bottom. Once it turns soft and pulpy
add the Beef ribs and fry for another 5 mins … Add 1 cup of water and close the cooker.
Cook for 3 whistles on high flame and another 2 whistles on low to medium flame. Open the cooker once cooked down and check if the Beef ribs are cooked. Garnish wirh fresh Coriander leaves and serve.
P.N..The consistency of this curry is thick, so adjust the water in the cooker accordingly.You do not want it to be watery.
