1/2 Kg Beef cut into thin steaks
2 Green chillies
2 Garlic pods
1 Inch Ginger
10 Black Pepper Corns
2 Tbsp Dark soya sauce
2 Tbsp Goan Vinegar
2 Tbsp Oil
1 Onion sliced into round circles
1 Tomato sliced into round circles
1 Potato sliced in the shape of fries
2 Boiled eggs sliced fine
Salt as per taste
Grind the chillies, garlic, ginger, pepper, and soya sauce to a fine paste
Marinate the Beef steaks with the ground paste, vinegar and salt for an hour.
In a frying pan heat the oil and fry the onion rings for a min.
In the same pan fry the tomatoes for a min and keep aside
Deep fry the Potato fries, drain and keep aside
In the same pan fry the steaks in batches on medium to high flame turning them till cooked.PN. do not over cook the steaks or else they will go chewy.
Transfer the Beef steaks on a serving plate.
Add little water to the remaining marinade and pour it the same pan and cook for 1/2 a min to make a thick gravy.
Pour the gravy on the steaks and garnish with the tomatoes, onions and eggs.
