500 Gsm Chicken pcs with bones
1Tbsp Ginger/Garlic paste
1Tsp Spicy Red chilly pwd
3 Tsp Kashmiri chilly pwd
1 Cup Yoghurt
Salt as per taste.
Marinate the Chicken with above ingredients for and hour.
4 Medium Onions chopped fine.
4 Medium Tomatoes mashed into puree
1/2 Tsp Cumin seeds
4 Black Cloves
4 Green Cardamon pods
10 Black Pepper Corns
2 Dried Red chillies
2 Tsp Kashmiri chilly pwd
1 Tsp Spicy red chilly pwd
1/2 Tsp Tumeric pwd
1 Tbsp Coriander pwd
1 Tsp Cumin pwd
2 Tbsp Ghee
2 Tbsp Oil
1 Tsp Garam masala
1 Tsp Dried Fenugreek leaves.
In a Pressure cooker heat the Ghee and Oil on a medium flame
Add the Whole Spices and fry till they start to splatter
Now add the Chopped Onions and stir fry for atleast 15 mins. Add little Water to avoid it sticking to the bottom
Once the Onions turn light brown, add all the Spice Powders and stir fry for a min
Now add the marinated Chicken and turn the Flame on high
Give it a good stir and you will notice a change in the colour
Add the Tomato puree and Salt and cover and cook for 10 mins on medium flame
Take off the lid give it a stir and add Water as per your consistency
Now close the Pressure cooker and cook for 1 to 2 whistles on low to medium flame. Once cooled down open the lid
Now add 1 Tsp of any Garam masala and 1 Tsp of theFernugreek leaves and give it another stir for a min and your Curry is ready to serve
