Pork Vindalho

    INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 Kg Pork shoulder with fat, cut into 1 inch pcs20201002_190909-4
  • TO GRIND:
  1.  15 Dried Kashmiri chillies
  2.  2 Tsp Cumin seeds
  3.  8 Cloves
  4.  10 Black Peppercorns
  5.  1 Inch Cinnamon stick
  6.  1 1/2 Tsp Turmeric pwd
  7.  10 Garlic flakes chopped
  8.  1 Tsp Sugar
  9.  10 Garlic flakes chopped
  10.  1 Inch pc Ginger
  11.  1/2 Cup Coconut vinegar
  12.  Salt as per taste20201002_190900OTHER INGREDIENTS:
  13.  1 Medium Onion chopped length wise
  14.  4 Green Chillies slit20201002_190829
  15. 1 Cup water

 METHOD:

Marinate the Pork with the Ground paste and Salt and keep overnight in the fridge.

Now in a Pressure cooker add the  marinated Pork, Onion,Green chillies

Add Water and close the Cooker and cook for 2/ 3 whistles or till Pork is cooked.

Tastes good after 2 days of preparation.

SERVE WITH RICE OR BREAD.
