1Kg Chicken chops
1Tsp Tumeric pwd
1Tsp Cumin pwd
1Tsp Coriander pwd
2 Tsp Kashmiri chilli pwd
1/2 Tsp Pepper pwd
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon pwd
1/2 Tsp Cloves pwd
1 Tbsp Mustard seeds
1/2 Pod Garlic chopped fine
2 Inch Ginger chopped fine
4 Green chillies
Handfull of fresh Garlic Leaves (Optional)
2 Tbsp Goan Vinegar or Lime juice
2 Tbsp Oil
Salt as per taste.
Add to the Chicken all the Spice powders, Vinegar/Lime juice and Salt.
Coat the Chicken well with all the Spices and let it marinate for 1 hour
In a frying pan heat Oil on medium flame and add the Mustard seeds. Once they start to pop add the Ginger/Garlic and Curry leaves.
Add the marinated Chicken and mix it well with all the fried ingredients.
Cover the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes on low flame. The chicken will cook in its own marinade.
Now add the Green chillies and Garlic leaves (optional)
Give it a good stir, cover and cook for another 5 mins on low flame. Take the lid off, by now the Chicken should be almost cooked. Turn the flame high and fry the Chicken by turning it regularly till it gets dry and light brown. Its ready to serve
