Beer Can Roast Chicken

1 Kg whole Chicken
To Grind:
10 Kashmiri chillies
1 Tbsp Pepper corns
1 Tsp Fennel seeds
1 Tbsp Coriander seeds
2 Tsp Cumin seeds
6 Dry red chillies.
Roast the above ingredients for 2 mins and grind it along with
1 Small Onion
4 Green chilies
4 Cloves of garlic
2 1/2 inch Ginger
1 Sprig of Curry leaves
2 Tbsp of Lemon juice or Vinegar to make a paste.
Keep aside 1 Tbsp of the Ground paste.
Make slits in the Chicken with a knife and marinate it with the remaining ground paste along with 4 Tbsp of Yoghurt, 1/2 tsp of Tumeric and Salt for an hour.
Now take a Can of Beer, empty half of it in a glass, as you need only half beer in the Can. Add the 1 Tbsp of the Ground paste to the Can and keep aside.
Place the Chicken on top of the Beer Can as seen in the pics and place it on the Weber and cook it for approx 1 hour or till it’s done. If you don’t have a Weber you can place it on a baking tray and Roast in a normal Oven at 180 degrees for an hour or till it’s done.
Serve with Chips and Salad
