Black Masoor Dal

Recipe :
500gms Black Masoor Dal Soaked in warm water for half an hour
1 Onion chopped
1 Medium Tomato chopped
3 Green Chillies Chopped
1 Tsp Ginger Garlic paste
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 Mustard seeds
2 Tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
1Tsp Xacutti powder or any Garam Masala
1Tbs Oil
1 Tbsp Ghee
Salt to taste
Coriander for garnish
Method:
Heat Oil n Ghee in a cooker its optional… Add Mustard seeds let it splutter.. Next add Onions n fry really well.. Then put Green chillies, Ginger garlic paste n Tomatoes, fry  till its all pulpy.. Mash with the back of your spoon while frying… Now add the Spices and fry for another 2 mins.. Now add the soaked Dal n about 1 n 1/2 cup Water… Adjust Salt to taste.. Close cooker n keep on high for 2 whistles… Open Garnish with Coriander n serve… With Butter.
